A: You cannot currently subscribe to The Cleveland Star because it is a free publication. However, you can submit your email address on this web site to receive each issue of The Cleveland Star automatically. Every person who enters the"I Found Pip" contest from the website is also automatically added to our email list. If you would like to have The Cleveland Star placed at your location, please contact us.

Q: Do I have to advertise in The Cleveland Star to have it placed at my location?
A: No, we understand if advertising is not in your budget. We will consider all locations for the distribution of The Cleveland Star.

Q: How often do you publish and where are you distributed?
A: New issues are distributed bi-weekly to over 50 locations in Bradley County. The Cleveland Star is strategically placed at locations in Bradley County wherever people are waiting for products and services, and several locations where they can just pick up a copy to take with them. The locations where you can pick up a copy of The Cleveland Star are listed in each issue.

Q: What’s the monthly contest all about?
A: Every other week The Cleveland Star “Star” (named “Pip”) is hidden in one of the ads. A random drawing from all correctly submitted entries is held every month for a $25 gift certificate to one of the advertisers or one of the locations where The Cleveland Star is distributed. This contest is great for the advertisers as well, as it encourages readers to look through all of the ads in order to find “Pip”!

Q: Why is one ad on the front of The Cleveland Star larger than the others?
A: That is our Spotlight Ad. Once an issue an advertiser that has agreed to 3 months or more of advertising is chosen at random by The Cleveland Star staff to receive this double sized ad at no extra charge for one issue. It’s just another way to get your business noticed and to say thank you for advertising in The Cleveland Star.

Q: Can anyone advertise in The Cleveland Star?
A: Yes, but as our spaces fill up we cannot guarantee a spot for everyone. The Cleveland Star reserves the right to accept or reject any advertiser.

Q: Where can I find The Cleveland Star?
A: We list all locations carrying The Cleveland Star in each issue. This shows our readers where they can pick up a free copy of The Cleveland Star. Remember though.., We are Online, Interactive and in Color 24/7!

Q: How much is an ad?
A: Ads in The Cleveland Star are less expensive than other print media, so the small business person can easily afford to advertise. Q: Why do you recommend that the ads run for at least 3 months (6 issues)?
A: We recommend 3 months so that your ad will saturate the area. With repetition comes recognition and your name will become known. This can also be important if your business is seasonal.

Q: When do I pay for my ad?
A: Payment for your advertising is due in full before the ad is printed.

Q: Do I need to design the ad?
A: No, we will work with you to create a unique ad and with a 6 month agreement and greater, the $30 setup fee is waived.

Q: Can I ever change my ad?
A: Yes, there is never a charge for minor ad changes, which may be e-mailed to, or picked up by The Cleveland Star staff.
